PECAN SANDIES 
Crust:

1/2 c. butter
1 (4 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. flour

Combine ingredients and roll into balls. Place in muffin tin and spread balls to form crusts.

Filling:

3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans, finely chopped
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream brown sugar, egg and butter. Add remaining ingredients. Fill crusts in muffin tins and bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes until brown.
