SQUASH BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. squash, mashed OR 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
1/4 c. water
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
1 c. raisins (optional)
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

With mixer, beat sugars, squash, oil, eggs and water. In separate bowl, mix together flour, soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger. Add to liquid mixture and blend well. Add raisins and nuts if desired. Put into 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/4 hours. Yield 2 loaves (24 slices.)
