POUTINE (CANADIAN QUEBEC STYLE) 
1 portion of crinkle-cut french fries (any brand)
1 cup heated chicken or beef gravy
1 small bag of curd cheese

Bake or deep fry french fries as indicated on the package.

Spread out evenly on a plate and add curd cheese (as much as desired). Once gravy is steaming hot, pour over cheese and french fries. Salt and pepper to taste.

Viola! Also good with ketchup.

But now that I'm actually trying to watch what I eat due to the ever loving or in my case not so loving expanding waistline I try not to eat too much French fries, but anywhoooo.. I wanted to share an easy way of making and buying gravy mix for this is powdered gravy mix that comes from our local wholesalers stores here in the states. Its by McCormick. They offer a brown gravy and a poultry gravy mix. I think you add either 3 or 4 tbsp of mix to 1 cup of water and whisk it. B
