ROAST WITH SAUERKRAUT 
4 lbs. chuck roast (boneless)
Salt and pepper to season
2 sm. onions, chopped
1 lg. can sauerkraut
2 handfuls brown sugar (on kraut)

Combine all of above - onions on top of roast and sauerkraut on top of onions. Bake in 300 degree oven for about 4 hours.

Note: If using a smaller roast, cook 1 hour per pound of meat. This recipe can be used with sliced ham or pork chops, cutting back on length of cooking time.
