CINNAMON BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. oil
1 egg
2 c. (sifted) flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda

CINNAMON MIXTURE:

1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon

Mix in order given. Put half of dough mixture into a greased loaf pan. Sprinkle with half the cinnamon mixture, then add rest of dough and sprinkle remaining cinnamon mixture on top. Swirl with a knife until the top is moist. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Turn off the oven and leave 15 minutes longer. You can also add pecan pieces or raisins when you separate the dough.
