ENGLISH MUFFIN BREAD 
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
5 c. flour

Scald milk and cool. Dissolve yeast in very warm water. Add sugar, salt, butter, and cooled milk. Add 3 cups of flour and beat. Add remaining flour to make stiff dough. If you do not use dough hooks knead by hand 4 minutes until manageable. Put in two loaf pans and let rise until doubled. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes until brown on top.
