DOUBLE ORANGE COOKIES 
1 c. soft butter
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. orange peel
1 tsp. salt
1 c. evaporated milk
3 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
Orange butter frosting

Combine butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, orange peel, and salt; beat until light and fluffy. Stir in milk, then flour and baking powder; beat until smooth. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on rack with edges touching. Drizzle with frosting.

ORANGE BUTTER FROSTING:

In saucepan, combine: 2 c. powdered sugar 1 tsp. orange peel 3 tbsp. orange juice

Stir and heat until blended. Freezes well, so double batch.
