CARAMEL BROWNIES 
1 box German chocolate or Swiss chocolate cake mix
1 sm. (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
3/4 c. melted butter
1 bag (40) caramels
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. nuts

Mix cake mix with 1/3 cup evaporated milk, melted butter and nuts. Spoon 1/2 of batter in 13"x9" greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Do not overbake.

Meanwhile, melt caramels in pan with 1/3 cup evaporated milk. Pour caramel mixture and chocolate chips on top of crust. Top with remaining cake mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
