CREAM OF CELERY SOUP 
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1/3 c. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. in 1 c. water
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. all purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Cook onions, celery and (1/2 teaspoon salt in cold water) covered, about 15 minutes or until tender. Do not drain. Add 2 1/2 cups of milk. Blend 1/2 cup milk, flour, salt, and white pepper. Add to celery mixture. Cook and stir until bubbly.
