BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
Crumble and brown 1 1/2 pounds sausage. Drain and set aside. Butter 9x13 dish. Crumble 10 slices of bread and spread in dish. Beat 10 eggs, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and pour over bread. Spread drained sausage over egg mixture. Top with 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. grated cheddar cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 45 minutes. Cool 5 minutes before serving. Delicious served with sour cream and/or Picante sauce. Serves 8. |
