2 c. flour
1 c. salt
4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 c. water
2 tbsp. salad oil
Food coloring or unsweetened Kool-Aid

Mix all dry ingredients in saucepan. Add water, salad oil, and food coloring. Mix and cook over medium heat until soft lumpy ball forms. Turn out of pan and knead several minutes until dough is smooth. Store in airtight container. Dough can be frozen and refrozen several times.
