EGG CUSTARD PIE 
4 slightly beaten eggs
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. scalded milk
1 9" unbaked pie shell

Thoroughly mix eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; slowly stir in the scalded milk. Pour into pie shell. Sprinkle nutmeg on top. Bake in 425 degree oven for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 425 degrees and bake 10 minutes longer. Pie will be shaky in center, but will firm up when cool. Let stand until cool. Easy to make.
