KENTUCKY POUND CAKE 
2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
1 1/4 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 c. sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
4 tbsp. hot water
1 c. pecans or walnuts

Mix all ingredients. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. corn syrup

Bring to boil until forms a soft ball. Cover cake.
