COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. milk
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. almond flavoring
1 can flake coconut

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Add almond to milk. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add milk and almond alternately with dry ingredients to batter. Stir in coconut.

Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in 10-inch tube pan.
