COLD OVEN POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
6 lg. eggs
8 oz. whipping cream
3 c. flour
2 sticks butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon extract

Cream sugar and butter until creamy. Add alternately the eggs, one at a time, with small amounts of the whipping cream and flour, beating well after each addition, then beat until light and fluffy. Blend in flavorings together. Pour into lightly greased and well floured tube pan. Place in cold oven. Set thermostat at 325 degrees; bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
