BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES 
6 qts. cucumbers (sliced)
1 qt. sliced onions
4 lg. mangos
6 c. vinegar
6 c. sugar
3 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. white seed
Few whole cloves

Place cucumbers in large crock of 1/4 cup salt to 1 quart vinegar. Stand 3 hours and drain. Put pickles in cans. Heat mixture, pour over pickles and seal.
