PUPA'S SWISS COOKIES 
This is a recipe my grandfather brought from Switzerland; it has much more flavor than pizzelles.

1 lb. butter (no substitute)
2 c. sugar
6 eggs
6 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Rind from 4 lemons
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. rum

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs one at a time, beat until smooth. Add vanilla and lemon rinds. Mix baking powder and flour, add alternately with rum. Bake in pizzelle iron until done.
