1 c. peanut butter (plain or crunchy)
1 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix all ingredients together well. Roll into small balls (nickel size). Bake 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet in a 350 degree oven. Allow to cool slightly before removing from cookie sheets. (One half cup chocolate chips may be added to ingredients, or you may make indentation in cookies before baking and then fill with jelly after baking.) This recipe is complete. These cookies need no flour or liquid.
