1 3/4 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. smooth peanut butter
2 tbsp. milk
48 chocolate candy Kisses
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine all ingredients except candy Kisses. Mix on low speed until dough forms. Shape into small balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Unwrap foil from candy Kisses while cookies bake. Place Kisses immediately after removing cookies from oven in center of each cookie. Makes 48 cookies.
