OATMEAL-HONEY MUFFINS 
3/4 c. whole bran cereal
3/4 c. milk
1 egg
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. honey
1/4 c. firmly-packed brown sugar
1 c. quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt

Combine cereal and milk in a medium bowl; let stand 15 minutes. Add next four ingredients, stirring well. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Make a well in center of mixture. Add liquid mixture to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened.

Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Yields 1 dozen.
