FROZEN CABBAGE SLAW 
1 med. cabbage (shredded)
2 or 3 stalks celery
1 tsp. salt
2 grated carrots
4 or 5 green onions (optional)
1 green pepper

Mix salt with cabbage, let stand 1 hour.

DRESSING:

1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. okra seed

Boil 1 minute, cool to lukewarm. Grate carrots, chop peppers and onions medium and slice celery. Squeeze off excess water from cabbage. Mix all ingredients, put in container, cover and freeze.

Remove from refrigerator and remove cover 1/2 hour before serving. May be refrozen several times.

I found you needed to take it out of the freezer more than 1/2 hour before you want to serve, unless you want to serve cabbage ice cubes!!
