STROMBOLI
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 lb. frozen bread dough, thawed
1/4 lb. thinly sliced ham
1/4 lb. thinly sliced hard salami, casing removed
1/4 lb. thinly sliced provolone cheese
1 1/2 oz. thinly sliced pepperoni

In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and pepper. Cook, stirring often, 2-3 minutes or until soft. Remove from heat.

Line a large baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place dough on foil and pat out to a 14 inch square. Layer ham, salami, cheese and pepperoni down center of dough. Top with mushrooms and pepper. With sharp knife, make 8 cuts, to within 1 1/2 inches of filling, along long sides of dough. Alternately fold strips, overlapping, into center over filling. Cover and let rise in a warm, draft-free place 1-1 1/2 hours or until doubled in bulk.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 45 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot. 8 servings. Preparation time: 20 minutes. Total time: 2 hours, 15 minutes.
