Hawaiian Nut Bread - Sugar Free

 Joanie (Oregon) says:
Honey is sugar. Diabetics cannot use it as a sugar "substitute. Agave syrup is also sugar and must be used in moderation. All sugars must be broken down into glucose to be used in the cell, whether it is fructose, maltose, sucrose or starch.

If it is pure honey it is fine for diabetics...natural sugar like fruit.

What about using agave syrup? You can find it almost everywhere nowdays. Target even carries it. It does not spike your insulin like sugar does. I am starting to use it more. I even brush it on thin sliced apples to make my apple chips in the oven.
