PERSIMMON PUDDING 
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. sugar
1 c. milk
1 egg, well beaten
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter, softened
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Mix persimmon pulp and sugar. Add milk and egg. Fold in sifted dry ingredients. Beat butter into mixture. Fold in fruit and nuts in flour. Pour mixture into double boiler, steam for 2 hours. Serve with whipped cream.
