INSIDE OUT RAVIOLI | |
1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onions 1 clove garlic, minced 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach 1 (16 oz.) can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 1 (7 oz.) pkg. (2 c.) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained 4 oz. shredded American cheese 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 2 eggs, well beaten 1/4 c. salad oil Brown first three ingredients in large skillet. Cook spinach, using package directions; drain, reserving 1 cup liquid. Add water to make one cup. Add spinach liquid and next 5 ingredients to meat mixture; simmer 10 minutes. Combine spinach with macaroni and remaining ingredients. Spread into 9x13x2 pan; top with meat sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. Serves 8-10. |
