HERBED CORNISH HEN WITH PASTA 
2-3 cornish game hens, halved
1/4 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. lemon juice
3/4 c. melted butter
3/4 c. firmly packed fresh parsley
1 sm. garlic clove, cut in half
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1 tbsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. EACH basil, thyme
Pepper to taste
8 oz. spaghetti

Combine oil and lemon juice and pour over hens, coating evenly. Bake one hour at 350 degrees in preheated oven.

In food processor, combine remaining seasoning ingredients. Process until parsley is minced; set aside. During last 15 minutes of baking, brush hens with half the herb mixture. At the time the hens are seasoned, bring water for spaghetti to rapid boil in pot and cook; drain. Toss with remaining herb mixture. Place cooked pasta on serving platter. Arrange hens on top and serve immediately. Serves 4-6.
