TOMATO SOUP CAKE 
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. or more nuts
1 c. raisins soaked in 1/2 c. water 1/2 hour then drain
1 c. tomato soup, beat 1 tsp. of soda in soup

Add tomato soup last. Cream sugar and shortening. Add the dry parts. Bake 350 for 50 to 60 minutes.

ICING:

1 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. milk
Dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Boil hard 2 minutes until it beads.
