3 c. master mix
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa (for chocolate cake)

Blend sugar into mix. Beat egg and water together and add half to mix. Beat 2 minutes, then add remaining mix and beat. Bake in two 8-inch pans for 25 minutes at 325 degrees.
