REFRIGERATOR YEAST DOUGH
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1/2 c. water
1 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. cold water
2 beaten eggs
7 1/2 to 8 c. flour
2 tsp. salt

Put 2 packages dry yeast to soak in 1/2 cup lukewarm water adding 1 tablespoon sugar. This will 'grow' while mixing the rest.

Pour 1 cup boiling water over 3/4 cup shortening, 3/4 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons salt.

Add 1 cup cold water, the yeast mixture and 2 beaten eggs. Mix in thoroughly 7 1/2 or 8 cups flour. This makes a soft dough which works up easily, after being refrigerated at least 4 hours, into dinner rolls, donuts and all sweet rolls.

For rolls: Shape into 2 inch rolls, let rise until double in size and bake 10 to 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
