SWEET AND SOUR MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground pork or beef
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tbsp. sherry
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. MSG (optional)
1/2 tsp. minced onion or garlic
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. minced ginger root
1/4 tsp. salt
Oil for deep frying

Mix pork with next eight ingredients. Form meat into 1 inch balls. Heat oil to 375 to 400 degrees and fry meat balls until done. Serve with sauce.

SAUCE:

1/4 c. catsup
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 c. crushed pineapple
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. green pepper, cut into bite size pieces

Put all ingredients except green pepper in a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly. Add meatballs and green pepper; mix well. Serve hot.
