OLD FASHIONED ORANGE CAKE 
3 c. plain flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs, separated
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. orange juice

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream butter, sugar and egg yolks. Add vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and milk and juice alternately, beating well with each addition. Beat egg whites until stiff. Fold into batter. Pour into three 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 375 degrees until done. Frost with Orange Icing when cool.
