OLD FASHION CHICKEN AND
DUMPLINGS
 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. boiling chicken broth
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift about 2 cups flour in mixing bowl; make nest in flour. Add 1 cup boiling chicken broth, salt and baking powder. Stir with spoon or fork until stiff; put on floured board. Roll thin. The secret is to have the dumplings real stiff, so use more flour if needed. Cut out and drop dumplings in pot of chicken broth, and chicken which has been removed from the bone. Cook 15 to 20 minutes.
