HAM AND SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 to 8 slices ham
8 to 10 med. potatoes (peeled and thinly sliced)
1 onion, peeled and thinly sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
Paprika
Cream of tartar

Toss sliced potatoes in 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar and 1 cup water. Drain. Place half of ham, potatoes, and onion in slow cooker. Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then grated cheese. Repeat with remaining half. Spoon undiluted soup over top. Sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours. High 4 hours.
