HAMBURGER HOT DISH 
1 lb. hamburger, browned
6 med. potatoes, peeled & sliced
1 layer carrots, sliced
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 onion, sliced
2 c. water

Brown hamburger. Slice vegetables and layer them and meat in casserole. Put rice on top of meat and vegetables. Mix soup and water and pour over. Bake 1 hour or more at 350 degrees until carrots are done.
