CANDIED LIMA BEANS 
3 c. lg. dry lima beans
1 tbsp. salt
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
4 tbsp. melted butter

Soak beans with cold water 4 hours; drain. Place in a 3 quart saucepan, cover with cold water and salt. Cook over medium heat 1 1/2 hours, or until tender. Drain. Place in mixing bowl. Add sugar and melted butter. Mix thoroughly by hand. After mixture is combined, place in 9x13 baking dish. Bake in preheated oven 325 degrees for one hour.
