MOUNTAIN CABIN BISCUITS 
3/4 c. whole wheat flour
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 to 3/4 c. milk
1 c. unbleached flour
2 tbsp. white sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sunflower seeds, unsalted

Mix flours and sugars and baking powder. Cut in butter. Stir in milk, mixing as little as possible. Add seeds. Shape into flat round, 1 inch thick. Put in buttered baking dish. Mark into 8 triangles. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes. Break into 8 biscuits. Wrap in cloth and serve.

Hubby and I both agree that these are the best biscuits we have tasted. Finally, I have found a recipe that turns out right. My biscuits are usually horrible little hockey pucks.
