PECAN PASTRY SHELL 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter

Place flour, pecans, sugar and butter in a 9 inch pie plate. Do not stir. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Stir mixture into bottom and sides of a lightly greased 9 inch pie plate. Cool. Yield: one 9 inch pastry shell.
