FRIENDSHIP CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. starter
1 lg. can peaches & juice

Mix all together and stir every day.

10th DAY: Add: 1 lg. can chunk pineapple & juice

Stir all together and stir every.

20TH DAY: Add: 1 lg. can fruit cocktail & juice 1 lg. (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries & juice

Stir all together and stir every day.

30TH DAY: Drain liquid from fruit. Divide fruit into thirds. Make 3 Friendship Cakes. Divide the juice into 1 1/2 cups each, place in tight containers and give to a friend with a copy of the recipe as soon as possible. During the 30 days none of the above should be refrigerated, keep at room temperature. Fruit may bubble some and if the container is sealed the lid might pop off. This is fine as long as it has something over it. The cake can be frozen, the juice cannot be frozen.

FRIENDSHIP CAKE:

1 yellow cake mix
1 box instant pudding mix, vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
2/3 c. oil
4 eggs
1/3 of the fruit
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring

Mix all of the above and bake in a greased tube or bundt pan at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
