COCONUT AND DATE BALLS 
1/4 lb. butter (oleo)
1 egg, beaten
1/2 lb. chopped dates
1 c. sugar

Cook 3 minutes slow and keep stirring it constantly. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 cups Rice Krispies and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts. Drop from teaspoon in coconut. Roll around with fork and then shape with hands or roll with palm of hands.
