EASY SPAGHETTI BAKE | |
2 slices bacon, cut up 2 sm. onions, chopped 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 1/2 c. sliced ripe olives 1/2 lb. spaghetti, uncooked 3 c. water 1 clove garlic, minced 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 tsp. chili powder 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese In skillet, fry bacon for 2 minutes. Stir in onions and garlic; cool until tender. Add meat and brown lightly. Drain. Stir in seasonings, tomato sauce, and water. Cover; simmer about 25 minutes. Stir in ripe olives. Break half of spaghetti into greased 2 quart casserole. Cover with half the sauce, then top with half the cheese. Repeat layers. Cover. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake another 15 minutes until browned and bubbly. Serves 6. |
