FEATHER LIGHT DUMPLINGS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, well beaten
3 tbsp. melted butter
Milk, about 2/3 c.

Sift dry ingredients together. Add egg, butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff dough. Drop by teaspoons into boiling liquid. Cover loosely and cook 18 minutes.
