CHICKEN WITH DRIED BEEF | |
6 boned chicken breasts, skinned and fat removed 2 sm. jars dried, chipped beef 6 strips lean bacon 1 can mushroom soup Tear beef in small pieces and spread in bottom of casserole dish. Wrap strip of bacon around each chicken breast and secure with toothpick. Arrange over beef. Spread undiluted soup over chicken. Cover with foil. Bake in 300 degree oven for 2 hours. Increase heat to 350 degrees and bake another 20 minutes. Can lift foil to brown during last 10 or 15 minutes. Can easily double recipe, but do not use more than one additional jar of dried beef because it would be too salty. |
