SOUR CREAM MUSHROOM SAUCE 
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, cut in half
1/4 c. minced onion
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. dairy sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Cook mushrooms and onions lightly over heat in butter until tender. Cover and cook 10 minutes. Push mushrooms to the side and stir flour into butter. Add cream, sour cream, and seasonings. Heat slowly, almost constantly stirring, to boiling point. Makes 1 1/2 cups.
