CHICKEN LIVER PATE 
1 tbsp. butter
1/4 lb. chicken livers
1 egg, hard cooked
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/4 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 tbsp. cognac or brandy

Heat butter, add chicken livers and cook 10 minutes; drain. Mix livers and egg in a food grinder (or put in blender). With wooden spoon work cream cheese and mix into liver mixture along with remaining ingredients. Serve with toast or crackers.
