BAKED SLICED POTATOES 
4 potatoes
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/8 c. oil
Garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves

Slice potatoes and lay them overlapping in a 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Mix butter and oil. Pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with garlic, salt and thyme. Bake at 400 degrees 25 to 30 minutes until potatoes are browned on edges. When doubling recipe, do not double oil.
