BARBECUED ROUND STEAK 
1 1/2 lbs. round steak, 1 1/2 inch thick
2 tbsp. oil or shortening
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. vinegar
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. catsup
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. powdered mustard
1/2 tsp. pepper

Cut steak into crosswise slices 1 inch wide. Heat oil and brown steak on all sides. Remove meat to casserole dish. Pour off fat, then place all ingredients in skillet and simmer 3 minutes. Pour over steak. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for 30 minutes more. Makes 4 servings.
