CHOCOLATE KISS COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 2/3 c. unsifted flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1 c. pecans, well chopped
1 (9 oz.) pkg. Kisses
10X sugar

Cream butter, sugar and vanilla. In separate bowl, combine flour and cocoa; mix well. Blend into creamed mixture. Add pecans; blend well. Chill dough 1 hour or until firm enough to handle. Unwrap package of Kisses. Shape a scant tablespoon of dough around each chocolate, covering it completely. Shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool slightly and cool on rack completely. Roll twice in 10X sugar. Makes about 50 cookies.
