CREAM CHEESE DOUGH
(REFRIGERATED)
 
8 oz. cream cheese
3 sticks butter or combination
3 egg yolks
4 c. flour
5 tbsp. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder

Mix as you would for pie crust. Add egg yolks. Knead dough; if too dry add a little orange juice to mixture. Put in refrigerator for an hour or so. Roll dough to about pie crust thickness and cut with cookie cutter or 2 inch squares. Place on greased cookie sheet. Place in center of each either Solo fruit - nuts or poppy seed or apricots. Set oven to 375 degrees. Bake 20 to 25 minutes as desired.

NUT MIXTURE FOR ABOVE: 1/2 pound walnuts ground with 8 graham crackers, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Beat egg whites. Fold into nut mixture. Makes about 75 pieces. Can be frozen after baking. Freezes well.
