3 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 tsp. red food coloring
6 tbsp. cornstarch
1 sm. box strawberry Jello
Large strawberries
Pie shells
Whipped cream

Cook sugar, water, cornstarch and food coloring until thick and clear. Stir in Jello. Cool. Pour over fresh strawberries which have been sliced and placed in pie shell. Refrigerate. Top with whipped cream and serve.
