CHICKEN FRIED ROUND STEAK 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak (1/2 inch thick)
2 beaten eggs
2 tsp. milk
1 c. fine cracker crumbs
1/4 c. fat
Salt and pepper

Pound steak thoroughly with sharp edged meat pounder. Cut into serving pieces. Mix eggs and milk. Dip meat into mixture, then into crumbs. Brown on both sides in hot fat, season, cover and cook over very low heat 45 to 60 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
